Sheena
Customer Care | Veterinary Assistant

I have worked at Canyon Small Animal since 2007. I was lucky enough to grow up with a wide variety of animals big and small. The majority of my childhood was spent helping on my grandparents’ ranch, competing in rodeos, caring for my animals, and sports. Now that I have my own family, we have a fair variety of animals big and small and spend our time team roping and riding. I still very much enjoy my work here. I feel so lucky to work with a staff who genuinely cares for every patient that comes in the door. Regardless of how scared or difficult a patient is, we all have our own fur kids that can be difficult and we understand the stress on both pet and parent.

Alisha
Certified Veterinary Technician

I joined the team of Canyon Small Animal Hospital in February 2014 after completing my A.A.S. at BMC. My passion has always been caring for animals since I can remember, so this field felt more than natural. Shortly after graduating I completed my state and national exams to obtain my technician license. My free time hobbies include fishing, hiking, camping, and spending any time with my two fur babies Hagen and Hauss.

Lauren
Customer Care | Veterinary Assistant

I joined Canyon Small Animal Hospital in March of 2018. I started out in the animal field in 2008, working for the Oregon Humane Society.

After moving back to Idaho, I started my journey in the veterinary field and have loved it ever since!

I grew up surrounded by animals on a small farm and always knew this field was what I was called to be in.
In my free time I love being outdoors; hunting, camping and boating with my husband and 2 boys. We have 3 dogs, 3 cats, chickens, and cows.

Amanda
Customer Care

I graduated from College of Western Idaho in 2014 and have worked in the medical field since then. In 2018 sudden life changes had me seeking a change in direction, which led me to a career at Canyon Small Animal Hospital. It was here that I found a family that I did not know I had. I have enjoyed developing meaningful relationships with both our clients and our patients. I am a small-town girl born and raised in Idaho. Growing up in a farming and ranching family caring for animals has always been a passion of mine. In my free time I enjoy traveling and anything outdoors; hunting, fishing, camping, RZR riding, dirt biking, etc. I look forward to being a part of the CSAH family for many years to come.

Janice
Veterinary Technician
Cori

Ryan
Kennel Assistant

Ryan started working at Canyon Small Animal Hospital in 2015 as a high school student. He is now at The College of Idaho studying Art & Design. Ryan is an Eagle Scout, and in his free time enjoys fishing, video games, and collecting Transformers.

Yassin
Kennel Assistant

I joined Canyon Small Animal Hospital in 2018 while starting my Associates at the College of Western Idaho. In hopes of transferring, I didn’t expect to stick around this long, but considering recent events it turned out to be an enjoyable and convenient part-time job that I’m grateful to have. It allows my proximity to the lovely cats and dogs that frequent while feeling safe. I grew up around animals and have two rescue cats Moosey and Rocky who I love. I enjoy all genres of music, reading, interior design, and potentially homesteading in the near future.
